chicago denied the olympics


Chicago was eliminated in the first round of votes by the International Olympics Committee. Members of the committee say the rejection was aimed more at the US Olympic Committee rather than at Chicago itself. In the past, the 2 committees have had problems with revenue sharing and lucrative broadcasting rights. Some people say Chicago was denied for another reason. Those people say it had to do with the recent death of a 16 year old Fenger high school student on Chicago's southside. The teenagers name was Derrion Albert. R.I.P yo
